Bridge and Tunnel Brewery
15-35 Decatur Street, New York
If you are tired of the same old cookie-cutter bars and want a spot with true New York soul, you need to head out to Ridgewood and pull up a stool at Bridge and Tunnel Brewery. This family-owned, entirely self-built microbrewery is the absolute definition of a local labor of love, and it has quickly become one of my favorite low-key hangouts in Queens. The vibe here is incredibly laid-back, community-driven, and completely unfussy, set inside a spacious, industrial-chic garage that feels instantly welcoming. But the real star of the show is the tap list. They are pouring some of the most creative, small-batch craft beers in the five boroughs—like their Get In, Shut Up, Hold On hazy IPA (which is literally brewed with real NYC bagels!) and their award-winning milk and oatmeal stouts. Add in their frequent live comedy nights, acoustic sets, and plenty of room to kick back with your crew, and you have the perfect recipe for a weekend hangout.Skip the Manhattan crowds, grab a pint of something completely unique, and soak up the authentic Ridgewood energy! 🥨🍺
