Opened in 2021 and operated by the North Brooklyn Parks Alliance, the space was uniquely designed to transform an underutilized urban area into a massive hub for recreation, cultural programming, and live music.Beyond offering New Yorkers wide open space and endless possibilities for large-scale events, it serves a critical community purpose. Concerts and events held at Under the K generate essential resources to keep North Brooklyn's green spaces thriving. Every ticket sold includes a surcharge that goes directly into a Park Restoration Fund, meaning the revenue from you dancing under the bridge directly supports the maintenance and improvement of public open spaces throughout the Greenpoint and Williamsburg neighborhoods.
